About Me

My photo
Shy, quiet and mostly kept to herself, clysa Dragoone aka Cly is a sweetheart until she is crossed. Rezzed on August 1, 2010, she came into Second Life only to dance, have fun and make new friends. Working as Head Dancer and Host at the Velvet Manor Night Club, she never thought about modeling till now as her sweet little neko friend, Nickle Sparrowtree, got her active. Also, with the help of Anrol Anthony and Steve McCullough, she entered the UCWS to study modeling for the Class of March 2011. Cly now strives to make it through even through the hardest of challenges within the world of modeling. At present is running in three latest contests, "Ms Elegance", "Ms Sophistication" and "SL Too Sexy". Plus, she participated in three fashion videos to date. She also, looks up to those before her, and seeks advise from the top models, such as DebbieDoo Tigerfish and Laylah Lecker, whom she considered as her role-models and good friends. In the end, her passion will still be in dance, but is thrilled to be given this chance to open up and prove herself, making herself someone in the SL world with the help and thanks to all at CWS.

Eighth Day of Class: Blog Review, Following Classmate's Blog's

Seems we're mostly doing reviews for the next few days.
Today's class we were going over the blogs that we each have to make. Seems we all got them set up but for one which is alright for we all helped her out. Also we had to make sure we had the important CWS sites placed into our blog lists. This way its easy to get to them and find them.
Then we went through those within class and checked out each others blogs. Mine of course has more to it since I started it back last month before I got ill and ended up dropping out to tend to my health.
Left to Right: Rihanna, cly (myself), Vicky, Jinx, Uneeque, ica, Layleah (absent Bella)
All the blogs looked great and I'm sure in time even look better as time goes on in our careers through CWS.

Homework: Please read entire card :)

**Attend Saturday's Fashion Show at 3pm slt or a Styling Event and blog it. Your post should have all elements of what we discussed today. The list is your guide to writing an awesome post. Yay :D

**Make sure you have all required gadgets and you are following CWS blogs and your fellow students blogs.

1.    Write with the reader in mind. This is the most important aspect when writing any piece. You ALWAYS keep your audience in mind while writing your post. In this case, most of your readers will be CWS group members, your trainers, Anrol, and your fellow students. Think about what you look for when reading something online. You want to know what’s in it for you..right? Most people, whether they are looking for entertainment, information, or instructions, want to know right away how this will benefit them, so keep in mind that your readers will read your post looking for what’s in it for them.

2.    Keep it short and simple. Lots of people like to skim over content, and while you may have a lot to say, remember the majority of your readers are people who don’t have a lot of time. Get to your point quickly. Publishing short posts is frequently better than long drawn out posts. With this in mind, I’m looking for posts that reflect you

3.    Write like you talk. Everyone has the ability to write, especially for blogs. Write your posts as though you are talking with a friend. It’s called your “voice,” so write in a way that is true to who you are.

4.    Use spell check. Luckily blogger has a spell check option. Spell check is your friend! While spell check will not catch the grammatical errors, it should pick up the majority of spelling errors. In addition, before you hit the publish button, read your post out loud to see if it makes sense, and often you will pick up some sentence structure mishaps and can fix those before you publish your post.

5.    Link often. Your links to other blogs and websites also helps you build a network of associates who will in turn link to your blog.

6.    Use keywords often. This will help you stay on topic, and as your blog grows, search engines will love it and your rankings will go up. Keywords throughout your posts are simply words like “second life fashion,” “modeling,” or “Classic W/Style” are some examples. If you use popular words that many people may be searching for, the more often your keywords show up, and in turn, the better your search engine results will be.

7.    Use a clear title. Don’t mislead your readers, and use a title that has nothing to do with your post. Use whatever you want in your title, but try and use key words in your titles so your blog will have awesome search engine results.

**Make sure you have all required gadgets and you are following CWS blogs and your fellow students blogs.

CWS CEOs

The head of Classic W/Style or CWS. Without these two, I bet everything will fall apart, but they rock no matter what.
Steve McCullough and Anrol Anthony, partners, not just in the CWS, but as husband and wife, worked hard in putting the CWS together. Honoring dreams and hopes for all who are within the modeling industries.
awesome and lovely couple in the CWS
Steve was the first one Ive met when I first joined the top model contest along with my good friend, Nickle Sparrowtree. He aided me and helped me understand how to place a teleport (tp)  within my picks, so that anyone can go and vote for me in the contest.
I met Anrol later when i first joined the University last month in February. She's inspiring and helpful to all young models. She gave me a chance to prove my worth when I fell ill in the middle of the month and had to drop out to tend to that in the real world. I am forever grateful, that they are giving me a chance and to repeat the classes and attend the events as much as possible.
So, here I honor both Steve and Anrol, the two inspiring people I have met and have the privilege to know.
Thank You!!!!
